3/8 9:45- Update: Cleveland.com reported that the Browns will deal a late-round draft pick in 2011.
ESPN’s Adam Schefter reported via twitter that the Browns have traded for Seneca Wallace. The details of the trade are not yet known.
Filed to ESPN: Seattle traded QB/WR Seneca Wallace to the Cleveland Browns. No compensation known yet. Wallace reunited with Holmgren.
Interesting. I wonder what the Browns gave up for Wallace.




Well, I can’t say that I see this as our future quarterback, but if we do draft a QB sometime this year, its better than we have a veteran backup, assuming we are trading DA.
So solid move, he may even be an upgrade over Quinn, for what its worth.
Reports are that the Browns gave up an undisclosed 2011 draft pick.
Assuming we’re not talking a first round pick, and like Nick said, assuming Wallace isn’t expected to the QB of the future, this seems like a pretty good move.
